Introducing Clinical Passports

Students finish clinical with hours sheets, skill lists, site logs, and evaluation scores scattered across systems and binders. When it is time to apply for a job or build a portfolio, they retype what they already earned.

Today we're introducing Clinical Passports: a student-only clinical experience résumé built from approved HealthTasks data.

Your clinical experience, already documented

Clinical Passports aggregate activity the student already completed in HealthTasks into one career-ready view:

• Clinical hours and approved log count
• Patient encounters
• Average evaluation score
• Experience by setting
• Age ranges and gender identity mix
• Medication classes
• ICD / CPT codes
• Hours by clinical location
• Top skills (performed, assisted, observed)
• Skills checkoffs (counts and scores)

Students open it in-app. One click exports a Letter-size “HealthTasks Clinical Passport” PDF they can download and share.

Institution name and clinical sites appear as locations on the passport. The summary is built from the same approvals faculty and preceptors already complete in HealthTasks: approved logs, completed checkoffs, and submitted evaluations.

Richer than hours alone

Hour totals matter. Clinical readiness also includes the mix of settings, populations, skills, and checkoffs behind those hours.

Some state boards and education-verification processes ask for a breakdown of clinical experience by population or content area. Passports make that mix visible from approved HealthTasks logs so students and programs can use it for portfolios, job applications, and school-side board packets without rebuilding it from paper.

Passports surface where students practiced, what kinds of patients they saw, which medication classes they worked with, which codes showed up in their logs, and how skills progress and checkoffs look over time.

Evidence from the system of record

Passports roll up approved clinical logs, completed skills checkoffs, and submitted evaluations. The numbers match what faculty and preceptors already signed off on in HealthTasks.

Why this matters for programs
