Nursing and allied health programs shouldn't have to choose between a strong clinical education platform and the systems their institution already runs.

Evaluations, skills checkoffs, clinical schedules, and student records often live in one place. SIS, LMS, CRM, and accreditation reporting live in another. Faculty and coordinators end up exporting spreadsheets to keep everything in sync. Leadership gets an incomplete picture of what is actually happening in the program.

Today we're announcing the HealthTasks REST API.

Connect clinical education to your stack

Your clinical education data can now connect to the systems your program already trusts. That means fewer one-off exports, cleaner handoffs between tools, and a clearer path from day-to-day clinical work to institutional reporting.

Programs use HealthTasks to run competency assessment, placements, evaluations, and skills checkoffs. With the REST API, that same data can flow into the broader academic and operational systems your IT and leadership teams already rely on.

Built for how programs actually work

Clinical education is not a side process. It touches students, faculty, sites, and accreditation evidence every term. When those workflows sit outside the rest of the institution's stack, teams spend time reconciling records instead of supporting learners.

The REST API is designed to reduce that friction. Keep HealthTasks as the system of record for clinical education. Connect it where your institution needs continuity. That is the Open CEM idea applied to integrations: public OpenAPI on our side, the tools you already run on yours.

Programs that already run Salesforce as their SIS (or hybrid CRM/SIS) can register the same OpenAPI spec in External Services and pull clinical education data into Flow Builder. See Integrate HealthTasks with Salesforce via our REST API. The same surface powers Power BI, campus integration platforms, and warehouse loads. Optional webhooks and site-scoped partner keys cover change notifications and hospital boundaries. Clinical encounter detail is available through clinical logs and progress analytics.
