PLP Update: Create Personalized Learning Plans in Bulk

Personalized Learning Plans (PLPs) help educators turn performance signal into targeted support. Until now, creating them meant opening each student dashboard, navigating to the PLP tab, and generating the plan one learner at a time.

For a large classroom, that could take hours. Even after generation improved, requiring a manual review and approval on every plan kept the bottleneck in place.

We've updated PLPs so educators can generate them in bulk from the classroom dashboard, and those plans publish by default.

What changed

From the classroom view where you already see every student, select anyone who needs a plan and generate PLPs together in one pass. By default, the plans are published and ready for students as soon as generation finishes.

You no longer have to enter each student record to start a plan, and you no longer have to approve every plan before students can use it.

In practice:

• Start in the classroom dashboard. Work from the full student list instead of drilling into one profile at a time.
• Select the students who need plans. Choose a few learners or the entire class in one step.
• Generate and publish in bulk. HealthTasks creates the PLPs together and sends them out by default, so an entire cohort can receive plans in seconds.

Educators can still open any plan, edit it, and stay in the loop when they want to. That review is optional, not a required gate before students get support. AI quality is high enough that most programs can generate and publish immediately, then refine later only where a plan needs adjustment.

Why this matters for programs

Remediation windows are short. When gaps show up across a clinical group, faculty should not spend the next hour opening dashboards, generating plans one by one, and approving each result before anything reaches students.

Bulk publish protects that time:

• The classroom becomes the starting point, not dozens of individual student pages
• An entire cohort can get Personalized Learning Plans in seconds
• Human review remains available when an educator wants to intervene
• Students receive support immediately instead of waiting behind a long approval queue

Personalization still matters. The update is about delivering it at cohort scale without making faculty the throughput limit on every plan.
